Drake Apartments
Damaged in the 1989 San Francisco Bay Area earthquake, this Oakland building required renovation and restoration of 50 units of affordable housing. Application of the proposed State standards (developed in Los Angeles) for non-conforming masonry structures helped save this community resource.
